I got both outfits for Christmas, and I much prefer the Jingle Dress. I don't know if it's just me, but I had a real problem getting the shawl for the fancy shawl outfit to stay on and look right. The elastic loops that are supposed to hook over her fingers to keep the shawl on seem like they are sewn on in the wrong places, because in order to hook them over her fingers, the back of the shawl has to be down around her waist rather than her shoulders. [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img] I really don't know if my shawl is defective or if it's supposed to be that way, but either way I am going to take the loops off and resew them in better positions. Both outfits are very pretty, but my vote goes to the Jingle Dress! [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]
I have both, and I don't have a problem with either. The Fancy Shawl is very pretty, but I like the design of the Jingle Dress.
Personally I would get the Jingle Dress first.... mainly because AG seems to like to retire items that have been on the market to long, and the Jingle Dress is older then the Fancy Shawl. Just my thought.
I think you should get both of them...you deserve it....you work you fingers to the bone every day....taking care of your family.....slaving in the kitchen cooking meals.....scrubbing floors.....spending endless hours playing dungeons and dragons...sounds good anyway.....

Earlier this week my husband had to sort flyers from work so we set up two tables and he and I finished it off together in just over an hour. My daughter made a comment about what is Mom getting for helping you with your work. He said...how about something for your doll? I just ordered the Jingle Dress, along with GOML Leyla; Im so glad to hear so many of you like it! Too bad the 'jingles' tend to come off though; but I am not at all rough with my doll, so I don't think I'll have a problem.
